Latin Lessons

Having hunted for my copy of the book off and on for over a year, I went ahead and ordered another copy of Learn Latin by Peter Jones
It is worth a paltry $7.95 not to have to brave my freezing garage full of boxes.
Ironic considering it was a "bargain book" at Barnes and Noble 4 years ago. But what if this poem is true?

Latin is a dead language
As dead as it can be
First it killed the Romans
And now it's killing me
All are dead who wrote it
All are dead who spoke it
All die who learn it
Blessed death - they earn it --Unknown

Naaa.

Ps there is a follow up by the same author called "Learn Ancient Greek"
both these editions are currently available ata good price from Barnes and Noble (dot com) not Amazon (they have used editions selling at triple the BN price).
