For my "Town"

Since I was a kid I wanted a Town as a home. Here is a good example of a starter "shop". My idea is home theatre would look like a cinema, kitchen dinging would look like a cafe etc.KLONDIKE CABIN PLAN

OK so I get the Geek of the Year award

Tonight there was a commercial from Liberty Mutual Insurance: about Teen Driving and they were dropping a car from a crane to demonstrate, what its like in a crash. The tail end of the video has the woman saying "Now at 60 miles per hour" This is impossible. You see you cannot make the same object fall faster. Gravity alone determines the rate of an object in a free fall. It is a constant. Sounds weird but it can be proven with Calculus. Its been known since the days of Galileo 400 years ago.
But I do guess incorrect information that stops kids from driving with no seatbelts is not all that bad. Just bad math. :-)

Flu

My lungs are clearing out. Last night I had such diminished lung capacity my breath was labored and I honked once in a while like I have seen asthmatic kids do. The cough syrup did not seem to do anything, the coughs continued and they were not terribly productive. Today my nose is running like a faucet. My Fever is still there. I am in a dream-like state a lot of time. My naps involve a lot of in and out of conciousness. I think I am sleeping about 18 hours a day. Sure is reaking havok on the puppy. Fortunately, he loves to sleep next to me. He can be in rambuncious play-mode and if I lay down and face the back of the couch he just lay down. I wish he'd do that in the morning.
wednesday symptoms appear,
thursday uncomfortable
friday I worked and it sucked
I took off saturday I think it was overall my worst day. I had the phone near my bed in case I could not breath.
Sunday I am laying around and watching TV shows form the 1960s. Yesterday I watched Burt Reynold's "White Lightning" and T3. White Lightening was the precurser to the silly "Gator"

Scooters

why does it seem like nearly everyone needs a scooter now? To hear ads on TV the scooter business is booming. Thy all seem to prey on your persnal greed "at no cost to you". No just to us schmos paying into fucking Medicare. its about as bad when you think of it as the lawyer injury ads.

Sick, dog, dinner and the Harp

I think I cought the flu bug. I feel fairly achy, congested and have a head-ache. I got up this morning -- too early -- and rambled over to Rite Aid to pick up some cough medicine and asthma pills.. I picked up some dvds of old TV shows 100 for $30 mostly 50s and 60s. High points being Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith and Bonanza. I was a bit worried they'd be the same as I already have, but I think so far I have only found a dupe AG episode. These shows are like the ones on the old CBN cable network back in the day.

The animals are finally realizing Boudain is here to stay. Alex comes down now, but does not interact with him. TC no longer puts up with stuff he was. He needed to set some boundaries with the pup. I am very glad I have the puppy. I do get tired of playing fetch all the time. But he is so sweet. In fact he's curled up on his back next to me right now. I had no idea dachshunds were such great dogs. People that have them seem to love them.

Tonight I am going for dinner at the Donnely's. I plan to tune my autoharp there. I am going to bring a bottle of Penfold's. I almost bought a Jug today as a joke for Jim. I cannot wait to see their place. They really are kind of like surrogate cool parents, although they may think of me more as a cool friend.

I sure hope I beat this flu bug. Everyone seems to have it. I skipped my vitamins last week due to sheer laziness, and low and behold - sick. Every time I do, I seem to catch something. I am convinced that is why, as a rule, I am pretty healthy.

Bob’s Chop Suey House

Bob’s Chop Suey House closed in 2000. I remember chuckling about the place as a freshman, but ultimately going there for dinner. We made reservations for a private room. We found a napkin on the table and I thought it was so funny. It was also BYOB with setups for sale. Setups are drinks without the alcohol. You could bring your own bottle, but you had to buy eye and mixers form them. We saw old people with their alcohol attaches. On the ceiling were neon animals, chickens and pigs. On the tile floor of the first floor entrance was the simple words "chop suey". Oh the restaurant was on the second floor.

www.adammesh.com

How Ironic that Average Joe's Adam Mesh's Pretty in Pink Themed night ultimately was the ending for the show too. Molly Ringwald picked the cute guy over the funny guy too. Although the cute guy was also rich, but only through his parents. It was High School though.

Despite how Melena looks shallow and stuff, I believe she may have been intimidated by Adam's success. But he was also a bit insecure about her (who wouldn't be?). If she was looking for true love, I doubt she'd have been on two reality dating shows.
